This organization was founded in 1997 with the mission and vision to preserve and protect open spaces in the community. The event was open to the entire community and was held in the morning on Saturday the 23rd March of 2013. The entire presentation went for a few hours from roughly 9 – 11:30 AM. The event on Saturday showed the community owls and talked about them too.

Hall Setting Up Westborough Community Land Trust

What makes the Westborough Community Land Trust so important is that they protect and have protected /preserved over 160 acres of wildlife habitat in Westborough, MA. They continue to help educate the community about nature and our surroundings through presentations like this one. They also help maintain the charm bracelet which has been an Eagle Project that the Boy Scouts of America have helped create over the years in Westbrough, MA. As a former Boy Scout who has worked on countless Charm Bracelet projects I was very happy to hear that this organization helps maintain all of the hard work and planning that went into creating this amazing trail.
